Local libraries offer much more than books and provide fun, education, entertainment, and friendships for the whole family. Libraries offer both online and in-person resources including newspaper access, adios and e-book rentals, and educational tools. Museum passes are available to local attractions such as the Museum of Firefighting, Boscobel House and Gardens, FDR Library and Museum, Hudson Highlands Maritime Museum, Madam Brett Homestead, Mohonk Preserve, Motorcyclepedia, Old Rhinebeck Aerodrome, Storm King Art Center and Olana House.
Other than books, many of our local libraries also offer "library of things" games and equipment rentals, multimedia art shows, classes and workshops, book clubs, teen and youth programs, reading to therapy dogs, playgroups, and free wifi!
Each library varies what is offered so we have shared all local libraries.
