At New Hackensack Nursery School, we offer preschool programs for 2, 3, and 4-year-old children that focus on developing foundational skills in a nurturing, playful, and engaging environment. The Peanut program for 2-Year-Olds is a toddler and caregiver option offered in the Spring and Fall. Our half-day preschool program for 3’s and 4’s is designed to provide young children with a balanced educational experience in a shorter, more focused timeframe. We also offer an enrichment option for the 4’s that allows us to delve deeper into skill-building activities that focus on letters (phonics/pre- reading skills), numbers (early math skills), and fundamental skills (rhymes, sequencing, patterns, matching, etc.) to prepare for kindergarten. Across all age groups, New Hackensack Nursery School fosters exploration, curiosity, and a love of learning through play. Teachers support emotional growth, help children develop problem-solving skills, and promote social interactions in a safe and encouraging space.
