🎑 Dutchess County Carnivals & Fairs 2025

What You Need to Know Before the Kids Spot the Ferris Wheel

By Publisher April 24, 2025

Carnival season has officially rolled into Dutchess County—aka the time of year when kids start plotting their ride strategy while parents start calculating how many wristbands they can afford without refinancing the house. πŸ˜…

Let’s be real: those unlimited ride wristbands? Not exactly “pocket change.” And once you add in the fried Oreos, funnel cakes, giant lemonades, and maybe a stuffed animal you did not win on the first try, you’re looking at a solid chunk of change in the name of family fun.

But here’s the thing—we do it anyway. Because the smiles, the sticky fingers, the neon lights after sunset… they’re kind of worth it. And this year? We’ve got you covered with the ultimate roundup of Dutchess County carnivals and fairs so you can pre-plan like a pro, know where the best fair food is hiding, and even enter to win FREE wristbands to kick the season off.

I put this guide together to help fellow parents find some of the best carnivals popping up around Dutchess County. I'll be keeping it updated as more events get announced, so be sure to check back often—because we all know how fast those weekends fill up! Know of a carnival or fair I missed? Let me know!
