Last year we packed up the kids and took them on a cider donut crawl! It was so much fun exploring new orchards and taste-testing so many wonderful fall treats. While each of us (4 kids and 2 adults) enjoyed different donuts, we had one clear fav!
We have quite a few awesome orchards for apple and pumpkin picking, many filled with fun family activities but finding the most delicious cider donut was no small feat.

Sharon and her sister created new recipes (including our Apple Cider Donuts, and our Harvest muffin) that have turned into old favorites. Now it's not just about what we make, it's about how we make them. We source many of our ingredients locally including NY State Flour from Birkett Mills, eggs from Feather Ridge Farm, and butter from Hudson Valley Egg!
When all was said and done, and our bellies were full, our favorite was Wilklow Orchard with an overall score of 4.8!
