About me
Hi There! I’m Pamela, I also go by Mommy, Mom, or ‘Bro’... I am your local Southern Dutchess Macaroni Kid Publisher covering the bottom half of Dutchess County, NY including Beacon, Fishkill, East Fishkill (Hopewell Junction, Stormville, Wiccopee, Hillside Lake), Wappingers Falls (Wappinger and Chelsea), Beekman, Poughquag, Pawling and Holmes.
Born and raised in Southern Dutchess (Stormville —> Fishkill) I have lived here (except my college years near Boston, MA) for 40 years and am now raising my great, big, wonderful, blended family here! I have a toddler, pre-teen, and teen, plus two bonus teen step-daughters. We have 3 crazy cats, 1 rambunctious lab/pit/poodle rescue pup, an axolotl, occasionally some carnival goldfish, and probably a dozen ants or so at any given time.
In addition to Macaroni Kid, I work full-time in marketing and non-profit management but I am no stranger to local events, places to go, and things to do! After pivoting from an art background, I launched my marketing career more than 10 years ago in publishing doing exactly this – places to go and things to do for family!
I am thrilled to bring my career full circle and be BACK to what I love to do as the local “know it all” on making memories for my family and yours!
