Flik Flak has been helping kids to learn to tell time by making Swiss watches for kids since 1987. I really like that the watches we had to review are not digital.
While it may take some additional practice and time (no pun intended) my son is now able to read his watch fairly independently. Each and every watch is put through a rigorous quality control to make sure they are perfectly safe for kids. The wrist bands are made of heavy duty fabric and adjust to the wrist easily. The Superman's Back in Town watches have an adjustable dial on the watch face to help with teaching it's 5 min past the hour, 10 mins past etc.
The Superman's Back in Town and Frozen watches we have to review are very durable. My son has been wearing it everywhere; rope climbing, inflatable race, swimming, trampoline, bath etc. It's great that they are shock resistant (perfect for sports), water resistant and machine washable! Perfect for when it gets that "boy funk" smell.
Flik Flak online has some great learning tools as well. Fun games and activities to help the kids learn to tell time, my son happily did all the activities and was very proud of himself. We even downloaded some coloring sheets for my 2 year old so he felt included. In each of the watch boxes besides directions and a paper clock to practice with there was also a cute ruler which went right into the backpacks for school. I thought that little bonus was very clever!
